The Paperboard Packaging Alliance (PPA) is a joint initiative of the American Forest & Paper Association and the Paperboard Packaging Council.
The mission is to promote the benefits of paperboard packaging and products to influence preference for these materials in packaging design and selection.
The PPA's main objectives are to:
Plan and conduct the annual Student Design Challenge to promote innovative paperboard packaging design and encourage college students in design, graphic arts and engineering programs to pursue careers in the paper-based packaging industry.
- Provide tools and resources to support paperboard packaging promotional programs.

Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC)
PPC, the leading industry association serving converters and suppliers of all forms of paperboard packaging, works to grow, promote, and protect the paperboard packaging industry while providing its members with resources and tools to compete effectively and successfully in the marketplace.
The Responsible Package
The Responsible Package campaign is designed to advance the leadership position of paper-based
packaging within the broader packaging industry and leverage stakeholder companies' existing sustainable practices and resources to educate and inform packaged goods manufacturers and packagers.
